This configuration file consists of the links to the appropriate configurations for the automounter, e.g.: 

/srv/nfs  /etc/auto.srvnfs --timeout=90

/etc/auto.srvnfs can be filled as: 

# This is for mounting user homes over NFSv4
 
*   -fstype=nfs4,rw,proto=tcp,port=2049   fs02:/&
